Nice and central location, polite and friendly staff. They all spoke good English, which is always good for us Brits! It was a traditional style hotel, comfortable bed, great size old style bathroom with bath and shower. Breakfast was decent, albeit only contintental style. Enjoyed our stay there.

This hotel was a great find, as it was our first trip to Vienna and so we didn't know where best to stay, in this fabulous city. It is in a very traditional Baroque- style, which we loved as we aways try and stay in hotels that have character and reflect the architecture of the city. The room was a reasonable size(Deluxe), considering hotel rooms in major cities tend to be smaller.The bathroom was very spacious. A fabulous continental breakfast greeted us each morning, offering everything you could wish for, including eggs to order. Presentation of the food and the dining tables was superb and a credit to the staff. As mentioned, this hotel is in a great location just minutes up a cobbled laneway (minimal traffic) leading into the main walkway/plaza of central Vienna. The laneway also has four very nice restaurants, so you don't have to go far, to grab a tasty meal. We used them a number of times ourselves. When we return to Vienna, we will book this hotel again.

Stayed in January. Small, old, but cosy and very well maintained hotel. Location - amazing, right next to the central attractions and walking distance to train station, which brings you to airport in 16 or 20+ minutes, depending on the train you choose. Room warm, not too big, but enough space for short stay. Bed comfortable, there is option to change your pillow on request, but for me existing one was good enough. Shower - good pressure, water hot, small bath, fluffy towels, no shampoo, shower gel and body lotion (quickly absorbing) available. Breakfast - eggs on request, small buffet, but great quality and plenty items to choose from. Sparkling wine available as well. One type of pastry, one cake. Everything very fresh. Staff polite and happy to help with demands. Overall very positive experience, would recommend this hotel.

This hotel is so close to main shopping street and restaurants and St Stephens Cathedral located down a quite laneway so hardly any noise but as mentioned only steps away from all the action. The room was a great size and the bathroom was huge, with a shower in the bath in our room. Also had dispenser of moisturiser which was great to have. The concierge of an afternoon/night was so helpful and friendly. The breakfast options were not huge but sufficient and the staff were very attentive. The room did get very warm and would suggest to turn the radiators off altogether as they also have air conditioning and room was still quite warm. Would definitely stay here again

Wonderful Vienna historic style building and decoration, the hotel locates just a couple steps from Annakirche, main shopping district streets, and highly rated restaurants. The Vienna State Opera and St. Stephan are just a short walk from the hotel. The Belvedere, Hofburg, museums are also within walking distance. The hotel style, and its lovely staffs provide a homie kind of feeling. We have great time there, and definitely will come back.
